Looks to have a post war Souval catch. ,Regards Paul
Maybe I should have said Souval type catch, Still post war imo. The makers mark seems spurious to me as it appears stamped into the metal after the badge was made, Makers Mark's are normally part of the reversed die & would appear raised .
Not any maker's mark that I am familiar with.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature with no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
I have not seen this type before but IMO it is a poor reproduction.
Cheers,Martin.
