Another Schwerin Minesweeper variant. This badge is M 1.1.10 on the Classification Table.
You can identify this badge because the base metal is zinc. The gap between the eagle's head and wings is solid, easier to see from the reverse and the hinge pin has no head on it. The makers mark is of the second type without periods between the words PLACZEK BERLIN and SCHWERIN BERLIN.
The finish is in good order with wear to the high points exposing the base metal beneath. The waterspout has discolouration on the bottom half but it actually looks like the darker grey used to paint the waves.
The reverse has the typical bubbled finish that is often seen on zinc based badges of a higher quality that retain their finish.
The hinge, pin and catch are typical for Schwerin, the catch being a flat based, flat wire mounted onto a round base plate.
