Hello marine fans, I would like to buy this badge as well, I can't say anything negative about the design, I still have doubts because it's mint condition for a zinc badge and because the manufacturer is often copied. Thanks for your opinions .........

Freiderich Orth zinc with horizontal pin and you are totally right that makers mark looks weird compared to known originals wait for other opinions but does not look promising because of that

Indeed a badge that has been faked over the years.
My gut feeling leads me to think that this example is a good original FO.
There were variations in the maker marks and the reverse hardware.
