U-boot kriegsabzeichnung

Article about: This may be OK? O think that it is in marked Schwerin zinc badge that may have been ground dug. It looks like it was glued to a board at some time. Opinions please. Thank you.

    Just a crude casting of a Schwerin, in my opinion. The obverse detail is very poor, not just worn, and the outlines differ from the Schwerin zinc version (which was always unmarked). I think it was cast from the Tombak version and artificially aged.
