Sorry to say that this is not an original Schwerin IMO.
It looks like a postwar copy with incorrect reverse hardware,poorly detailed maker mark too.

My first thoughts were that the finish looked new.
No signs of wear on the eagle's breast, or wings. No wear on the outer edges either.

Hi Guys,
As mentioned, a mass-produced fake, sold by Morigi for £24.95. Sometimes the "maker mark" is almost too faint to read.
