    Yes, I always liked this photo very much, Bob. The eagle is enormous and beautiful.
    Look how thick the body of the eagle extends from the wall behind. Have only seen
    a small eagle, but this did not quite have the character of the shown one here!

    Our dear friend. I received my splendid copy of your book today. Took a few shots of it with my Rheinmetall Borsig Bird & your page dedicated to that maker.     Wow, William! Your U-Boat eagle is breathtaking!!!

    I just checked the links above to order the book and suspect that with the passing of Mr. Bender (My condolences to his friends and family), Bender Publishing is no longer in operation.

    I would love to purchase a S/N if anyone has an additional copy available.
