Possible trolley/bus eagle or crappy cast fake?
Hello all - came across this piece and while I have concerns about it, it is reminiscent of this eagle that seems to be legitimate. They have similar attachment points on the wings and the bar in the middle: Large 15" Metal Eagle, Opinions needed please.
This one is a bit rougher around the edges on the back which is one concern and looks a bit cartoony on the details to me as compared to this other eagle. Thanks!
They usually have a makers name / mark on the back and are finished better than this one, which looks a rough, open mould casting.
I'm saying its a reproduction because of that ......

The hanger on the eagle is very similar to the catch on some fake buckles from Europe..
Wow that one hurts my eyes!
For $25.00 it would make a decent display piece for the collection!
