German Oak leaf lapel badge
Hi. First time using the site.
I'm a collector of anything Middlesex Regiment, and have been all my life (Father served). Whilst at a sale last week the attached pencil drawing was part of the lot I purchased of mainly UK military items & photos. I have no idea of the uniform type, only that it appears to be German (the signature , too) and has an oak leaf type lapel badge, so can anyone shed any light? Thanks in advance for any help. It's a portrait of the Reichssportführer Hans von Tschammer und Osten. The collar patches are the rank insignia for an SA-Gruppenführer.
