New to the group German K98 Bayonet

Hi there
My name is Dean and I am 51 years old. I have many interests as well as Military items an£ these include scale modelling. I found this site when looking for information on my Grandfathers German Bayonet that he brought back from the war. He served in North Africa, Sicily and Italy and was at Monte Cassino but I am not sure where he got the bayonet. I am hoping to find out from my uncle who was told most of the stories and will speak with him about it.
I do have a few other items from WW1 and WW2 all were owned by family members.
