    Question Pickelhaube collecting

Hello there, I'm new to collecting and would like to know the basics of pickelhaube collecting. I.E. how to distinguish officers and infantry pickelhaubes and the different models. Also, what is a reasonable price for a pickelhaube?
    Thanks,
    Andrew

    Welcome Andrew.

We will try to help you out. Haubs were produced for a long time and with all the different kingdoms in Germany at the time, the number of variations are huge. It's a difficult field to master.

That said, a great resource is the Kaisers Bunker website.

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

    Welcome Andrew,
You have been given a link to a site that is very often used as a reference.
    Save it to your Fav's.
You can also put Pickelhaube in the Advanced search at the top right of the forum page and see some very nice Haubes that memeber here have collected.
