My name is Susan Jordan and I've joined this forum to find out about my great-uncle's WW1 (or thereabouts) Polish army uniform. I've seen photos of several uniforms that look very similar in the Polish militaria section and hope to be able to post a photo when my membership is approved.
I've been researching my family history and am particularly interested in this great-uncle. As far as I know, he was the only one of his family who served in the Polish army. His brothers served in the British army. I don't know whether he came to England and was sent back or whether he stayed in Poland when the rest emigrated. I'd like to know how I can find his army records. He came from a Jewish family who lived in Płock.
I live in Devon and am semi-retired. I don't collect army uniforms or militaria and my interest in this forum is purely for family history.
