A proby member from Burgundy France / In memory of my Grand-Father
To all forum members, please find following my short introduction :
As a freshly retired French civilian, born in the early 60’s into a coal-miners & steel workers’ town of the Burgundy region , I think it is the proper time for me, this winter, to currently conduct family genealogical researches, on my Polish-born ancestors.
I choose to focus on my Grand-Father’s and his armed forces service years.
Just a few family souvenirs remained, like photos and paper-forms. But it’s a start!
And I am confident that, with “a little help” from this forum community, I will soon be able to trace relevant information.
So, I am looking forward to joining you, and I warmly thank you for that, beforehand.

"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
