Signed up a while ago but never posted

Hi everyone, I signed up here a while ago when I was considering starting to collect militaria seriously. I never got round to posting unfortunately and never really started my collection due to lack of funds and space. I have a small collection of various bits I have picked up over the years but not much. I enjoy metal detecting so this forum should be useful for identification of finds etc and I'm considering collecting militaria again. The reason I am back is that I found what I believe to be a WW1 German trench knife yesterday, I will be posting a thread about that soon. I'm based in Scotland and look forward to having a browse of all the interesting pieces on the forum once again.
