    Something you dont see all that often is the complete rig ofthese fire axes ....very nice .

    I believe there was a harness that went with this?

    Yes, this is a completely correct dress fire axe with correct hangers. The etched example I believe is earlier than the un-etched axe, which is also a dress type. Actual fire fighting axes were heavier but hung from the belt with a similar leather cover. Not seen that often.
