German Dress bayonet Identification

Article about: Hi Guys need a little help with German Dress bayonet Identification I believe this to be a fireman's dress bayonet? My questions are? What and why is there a logo or initial on handle? What

    The freshwater lobster is the logo of Peter Daniel Krebs, an uncommon mark on a fire bayonet. This Krebs company also used the same logo with name and location surrounding the outside of the border on some KS98 bayonets but this is the only logo I’ve observed on the fireman’s variety.

    Larry, Carl Julius Krebs did in fact make fire bayonets. I owned several of them. CJ Krebs used essentially the same oval logo albeit in a small and larger size including the stylized K wing with a crown. Similar to DP Krebs, they are not common to encounter at all.
