    I dont think we have had a 'World War Eleven' yet but that is a good looking knife, in spite of the oddly shaped handguard Nice

    No problem, I was just kidding

    As for the blade, I tend to agree with you; a theater made knife, but cant tell for sure.

    A well made knife IMO.

    Others might know more about this one.

    I thought the brown scabbard was strange maybe repainted.

    The scabbard and frog aren't German, maybe Bulgarian or Romanian(?).

    From the over all style, I was thinking South America. Argentina, Chile and Peru all imported a wide variety of edged weapons from Germany.
    Just an over all feeling, but it may be a good place to look.

    I have seen a similar style cross guard on something else but cannot remember where.
