    Hello Krisse,
Speaking from my knowledge of stag only, I think this Hirschfanger is at best, a parts piece. Either that or post war that has been "pimped up". The stag shows no age to it. If it were original, even the best kept piece of stag would show some signs of discoloration. Possibly a new stag handle added recently.

I agree with Ralph. Not one that I would put money into.

The scabbard shows the proper age and patina but the rest is post war pimped up as Ralph said. I would expect to see an earlier Eickhorn maker mark also.

Post 45 - notice the inverted maker mark, should also be stamped.

Not really in my area - but from what I understand being that the TM/Logo should not be acid etched, but stamped. Therefore at best a postwar piece. Also seeing what looks like a hole(?) inside the legs of the Swastika which could be from removing a non-NS emblem. Best Regards, Fred
