Wanna to show you this early 3th Reich period produced standard Eickhorn Hirschfänger.
Clamshell is numbered underneath, and Filt bufferpad is in place.
It bears the double oval so it will be produced around 1934.
Its the heavy gilded messing one as we can expect, and a nice bonus is the spine marked distributer Michovius Cottbus.
Not that often seen!
The blade still has a pretty nice etch, no nicks and a perdect tip.
Unfortunate the acorns on the stag gripplates have suffert a bit from moisture, which is also seen a bit on the hilt patina.
The scabbard is the standard black leather one with numbered fittings both staples in place, gilding is very nice and high quality.
Enjoy this nice Eickhorn.
Cheers
Ger
