Looks like a German hunting club dagger of some sort.

It could even be an unofficial boot knife WWI-era-is hard to tell. Missing the metal sheath tip....well, I wouldn't go hit the Jaguar dealership just yet. Some people do collect these things, though,but still,under the hundred dollar range, in this condition.

I have a ww1 dress bayonet and the scabbards look similar, so that would make
sense
Can't go wrong for $5.00.
I really like it - it has the look of a fairly well made knife. At first I thought
it was fashioned from an old knife sharpening steel. The handle
reminds me of one........!
