    Default Can Anyone Help Identify This German General?

    I just picked this photo up in an auction. I was hoping someone could identify the General in the photo. It looks like he has some facial scarring, but I do not have the actual photo in my possession yet. Based on the rather distinctive, large, ears and the apparent facial scarring my best guess would be Dietrich von Saucken in 1941 or early 1942 prior to his RK award. Can anyone confirm otherwise?

    It is General der Gebirgstruppe Ludwig Kübler.
