The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
You have a tremendous group here of Das Reich photos and documents showing some good signatures and stamps thanks very much for posting them

I would edge towards a D, Nice Documents!
Just checked Reibert Kämpfe didn't join Das Reich from Totenkopf until June 1941 , Hans Weiss was Kompanie Chef of 4 Kompanie of the Aufklarungs Abt during the fighting in France in 1940 so i think it is definately him.
Weiss was awarded the DKiG on 23/8/1944 , RK 6/4/1943.You have another nice early photo of a highly decorated SS Officer
