The "DRA" badge was awarded from 1912 to ca. 1934. It was replaced by the "DRL" badge with Swastika in 1934 or 1935.
(There is also a "DRL" badge without Swastika. Long believed to be an intermediate version between those two, it is actually post-war.)

Thank you for your additional info, that is why I asked, because I also believed it to be an intermediate version between those two, but now I know it is an early-post-war version

I think you misunderstood, your badge minus swastika is a DRA badge from the pre third reich era!...

I have just got this [FONT="Times New Roman"]DRL Sports Badge In Bronze from about 1933, I think it is an early version from 1933 as the later model from about 1937 also had an [FONT="Arial"]swastika ?
It is still the same as when you posted this one.
