German Red Cross Sheet with List of German Civilians Abducted by Russians and Poles During and after WW2.

This list was typed up by the German Red Cross after WW2. It list a bunch of German Civilians who were abducted during the war and they were requesting information on them. According to the sheet, some were taken by the Russians and sent back to the Soviet Union (likely for forced labor) and some were taken by the Poles.

The sheet reads:

* Gründel, first name and age unknown, about 39 years old, worker from Laurahütte, born about 1906. He was arrested in Laurahütte in 1945 and allegedly died in Polish custody in 1946, without relatives. Handwritten text: executed, witness sheet 309, page 44.

* Boleslaw Gwadz, 52 years old, locksmith from Laurahutte, Wanda street 42, born in 1894. In 1946 in Laurahütte arrested by Soviet military and taken away.

* Felix Kawik, 59 years old, Lochsmith from Laurahütte, Wehowski street 9, born 19.11.1886 in Olkusch Kreis Bendzin, married, 7 children. He was arrested on 26.6.1945 in Laurahütte by Polish militia and taken away.

* Albert Kurpanek, age and profession unknown, comes from Laurahütte, Park st 4, date of birth unknown. Was taken prisoner by the Soviets in January 1945 in Laurahütte, without relatives.

* Walter Labryga. 38 years old, plumber Beuthener streetsex 3, born 26.8.1907 in Laurahütte, married. He was taken into custody by Polish militia on 13.3.1945 in Laurahütte.

* Max Laqua, 41 years old, civil servant from Laurahütte, born 1.9.1904 in Laurahütte. He was arrested in Laurahütte in 1945 and was in the Myslovitz camp until September 1945 and from there transported to the Soviet Union.

* Richard Lein, 39 years old plumber from Laurahütte, born 1906 in Laurahütte, married. Was taken prisoner in Laura Hut in 1945.

* Eduard Miklis, electrical supervisor from Laurahütte, judge st 16, born 9.10.1887 in Siemianowitz, married, 1 son. Arrested in Laurahütte in March 1945 and allegedly taken to Myslovitz.

* Albert Moj, 45 years old, employee from Laurahütte, born in 1900. He was arrested on 15.2.1945 in Laurahütte and presumably taken to the Soviet Union.

* Georg Pradela, 25 years old, occupation unknown, came from Laurahutte, Wanda st 52, born 13.3.1920 in laurahütte, married, 1 child, short-sighted. Was taken into Soviet custody in Laurahütte in 1945.

* Paul Rudzinski, 40 years old, foreman at the Laurahütte steelworks, side St 7, born January 22, 1905 in laurahütte. Arrested in February 1945 in Laurahütte by Polish militia and presumably taken to the USSR.

* Karl Schneider, 51 years old, miner from Laurahütte, born 1894 in Laurahütte, married, 2 children. Arrested in January 1945 in Laurahütte by Polish militia and taken away.

* Anton Schymocha, about 46 years old, Steiger from Laurahütte, born about 1899. On 15.2.1945 he was imprisoned in Laurahütte and then taken to the Soviet Union.

* Zingon, first name and age unknown, housewife from Laurahütte, Hugo st 20, date of birth unknown. Captured in Laurahütte in 1945 and taken away with an unknown destination. “
