Article about: About a month ago I ended up winning an interesting German document on auction. The auction only had a few people bidding on it, and I ended up winning the document for only \\$7. I bought it

I thought it would be a nice touch if I cut out the shipping label from Germany and put it in the frame behind the certificate. It’s not to prove provenance, but rather to show where it came from.

Wow!! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to research this for me. He was supposedly in the Condor Legion? Fascinating to say the least!
    No problem Sir.

I think Flak Regiment 9 (or parts of) participated in the Spanish Civil War, so it was given the honorary title ‘Legion Condor’. It was also listed as destroyed at Stalingrad in February 1943.

Even more fascinating history. I wonder if this man made it to Stalingrad, and if he did I wonder if he made it out?

Thanks once again for the research! It really means a lot to me.

    Thank you so much MAP!

I really value and appreciate your opinion on this piece. I suppose I did good for $7?
You did very very well for $7. It's value is probably low but it's tie back to history is priceless. I love items like this.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

No problem, I’m happy to help.

The Battle of Stalingrad ended in February 1943, so if he was there, he definitely made it out.
