From left to right in the front row:
- Kapitän zur See Ludwig von Schröder, Commandant of Kiel and Port-Captain of Kiel (29 September 1932-31 December 1934) and at the same time Naval-Commissioner for the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Channel (29 September 1932-30 September 1934)
- Konteradmiral Hans Kolbe, Commander of Reconnaissance Forces (01 October 1932-24 September 1934)
- Vizeadmiral Conrad Albrecht, Chief of the Naval-Station of the Baltic Sea (01 October 1932-03 July 1935)
Konteradmiral Eberhard Weichold (middle) taking a stroll through a town in Italy, 1940/1941. He was the Chief of the German Liaison Staff with the Admiral-Staff of the Royal Italian Navy (28 June 1940-15 August 1941) and then the German Admiral with the Admiral-Staff of the Royal Italian Navy (16 August 1941-04 March 1943) and at the same time the Commander of the German Naval-Command Italy (22 November 1941-04 March 1943).
