Fortunate to find so much information on Martin Götz. I hope his faith didn't desert him at the front.

I was surprised too and it looks like he hasn’t been forgotten either. According to information on one of the links it says this -
Töging - Hannes Roth will give a lecture on the priest Martin Götz (1911-1942) at the Gasthaus Springer on Wednesday, November 4th at 7.30 p.m. Title of the evening: "Work and fate of a Tögingen priest under National Socialism".
He seemed like a very strong man and I’m sure his faith didn’t waver one bit.

For me it makes his sterbebild all the more interesting in your collection.

This 2 panel death card is in memory of Johannes Rundel, a Soldat in 5. Komp. Inf. Regt. 270. He was born in Hausern on October 24, 1920 and killed on September 16, 1941 in a forest battle near Petrovskaya, Russia. Cause of death appear to be a gunshot wound, though I cannot make out the last word. According to the card he was buried there with seven of his comrades.
I think it might be shot to lungs?
I believe that you are right, thank you!
You guys are right.
