super small Winterhilfswerk book

Found a super small book , only 5 by 3,5 cm..... thought first it was noncense but found that these were made in 1938... Wonder why that small

I don't know much about them and I'm sure someone else will be able to provide more information but I think they were called 'Buttonhole Books'. They were given as tokens to those who donated to the Winter Relief Fund and had a piece of string attached so they could be worn from the buttonhole.
There were several sets as far as I know, this one from the 'Der Führer' set.
Hopefully someone else will be able to elaborate.
