Waffen SS Patrol Photo

Article about: I came across this interesting and striking photo, taken from a propaganda book. When I first saw it I thought it was made by re-enactors, but it is indeed a period photo...Menacing crew! ch

    They are not Waffen SS, but WH soldiers.

    Nice pic, but, to me anyway, it looks like a "late war posed for Signal/Propaganda Kompanie" photo. But it's given me an idea for a model diorama!!

    Great pic.
    Late war (on account of the STGs, I suppose)?
    Posed or not - they look tense.

    I like the motor too. Last Schwimmwagen I saw was at Munster. I so wanted to take it home and ford a river, LOL.
