    Hi there.

Thank you for posting and I agree, the scanned version is very crisp.

    Name: Heribert Giglberger
    Rank: Obergefreiter
    Birth Date: 15 March 1913
    Birth Place: Frontenhaüsen Vilsbibürg
    Military Unit: 4./Kompanie Feldausbildungs-Regiment Nordukraine
    Death Date: 14 June 1944
Death Place: Flissÿ Forstl bei Janow (Kreis Bilgoraj)

His cause of death is noted as Gefallen: Granat volltreffer (Killed in action: Grenade/mortar direct hit)

I couldn't find him on the Volksbund, but according to the rear of his casualty card he was buried in the Heros Cemetary in Biłgoraj.

    Janow -
Soviet and Polish troops captured Janów on July 26, 1944, and afterwards the town was restored to Poland, although with a Soviet-installed communist regime, which remained in power until the Fall of Communism in the 1980s.

Yeah, the scanner works so much better and I wish I had one lol. No worries on the info too.

I managed to find Flissÿ (his place of death) -
Flisy is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dzwola, within Janów Lubelski County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Dzwola, 8 km (5 mi) south-east of Janów Lubelski, and 65 km (40 mi) south of the regional capital Lublin.

My pleasure. I agree with you there and it fits in nicely with the killed in action by 'Bandits' on the death card too.
