Roman was born on August 6th 1921 in Untererthal. During the war he served in a Grenadier Regiment. He was the holder of the wound badge. Roman was killed in Croatia on May 24th 1944. He was 22.

No casualty card unfortunately. I was really hoping there was one because there were a lot of interesting German units fighting partisans during that time period.
