A RNZAF flyer's jacket from 1981. Type CWU-36/P made by Alpha Industries worn by RNZAF aircrew in the 1980's. The CWU-36/P type replaced the L-2B type used throughout the 1970's. This would be any early example of the type. Scovill gripper zippers.

Love these I have the summer and winter versions, Summer is not so comfy when wearing with a T-shirt!! Thanks for showing a NZ issued
You're right, they are more sweaty than the L-2B, probably the fire resistant fabric.

Nice I see it's fairly early, here's the tags from mine. Note the liner material in the CWU-36/P it's not comfy!

The L-2B that I have has an orange silk liner. Even you Rene would find that comfy.
Yep my later version is ... but it doesn't fit now a days!!!
