I just saw this,
Mr. Anderson is spot on and I've tried to see who had crossed swords on their helmets and I am not finding it. Nor have I seen that before.

Thank you Phil. My best guess is a Reserve unit in the 80's, since the USMC has mostly used old items from the start, but that is only my guess. I could not find anything either. Thank you for looking.

Are there any markings on the O2 mask?

I am asking because of the connector plugging into the Nose bridge .
There is normally a Microphone Preamp assembly located there that connects to the mic on the inside of the mask.
Here is a photo of the preamp installed.

Ummm Looks to me like a USN HGU-49 helmet built on the PRK-37 helmet shell with a PRU-36 dual visor assembly. with a MBU-14 flight mask. late 70's through at least the 90's.
