The liner is dated September 1964.
It has a beautiful early cotton twill helmet cover, the contract number of which dates to early 1965.
Very nice original piece from the Vietnam War!
    Received helmet No.2 today.

Absolutely fantastic trio of Nam era Helmets Reiburt, personally i'd of done three seperate threads in the M1 section as many more members view there rather than the Vietnam war section in general, and saves on any confusion when discussing and also most probably have a much more in depth discussion regarding these wonderful steel pots you've aqcuired, well done just stunning all three of them......

I like the helmets very much, but they were also very expensive, I had to pay almost USD 200.00 per helmet! ...

Very nice trio Reibert, I agree with RR44 that they deserve a thread each.
