    Marines weren't issued the helmet band.

    Nice helmet setup. Most and I would say 80% of Vietnam Helmet setup are put together post war and this one is no different. You have a good example for display and congratulations.

    Many thanks dear collectors, I have never seen before this one a helmet with same all period stamp, I search combat items rare to find...

    Yes Marty is correct most M1 sets regardless of whether it's ww2 or Vietnam are generally put togethers for a purchase and of course display.
    you have a nice complete set including the Nape which is usually always missing.add a pack of cigs or zippo but don't overload the look.Textbook vietnam grounds troop steel combat helmet.

    Many thanks Jake, I see a navy cross on the Helmet buckle is just the maker or a regiment ? I will post Vietnam Jacket soon

    Maker is Anchor, that is their mark.

    North & Judd MFG anchor stamped metal buckle hardware between 1965-67 then the logo was dropped for production 68-69.
