Hello everyone and happy new year. I have a simple question: I ask you which is a interesting book explaining the M1 Garand rifle. I am interested knowing about production number ranges, markings, construction. A technical book but not a field manual (I own several). I ask you because I have seen a lot of books on the web but I have no idea of the contents. Thank you.
Try Bruce Canfield's M1 Garand Book

I will 2nd Smitty motion on which books are a good reference. Duff's books go into more historical data and are good as well. As with any reference on any topic; there are mistakes in all books. IMHO. None should be claimed as 100% accurate.
