This is a socalled "Field upgrade" the former owner just replaced his scabbard and kept the dagger.
A lot of field upgrade sets therefore do not have a perfect fit between the throat and lower guard, as this one has also a different angle showing gapping.
I like the chain, as it has the proper stamps and is an original chain.
I need better pics of the paint, as the typical high lacquer shows a different gloss then yours, it could have had a repaint.
