Gents i Always wondered how people hang on to a list that has his base on a count of available dagger many years ago.
Its does not in any way represent the current market, but its just a moment in time.....its also like having 220 producers which only a handfull still exist and then coming up with production numbers.....almost all archives were lost in the war, they simply bombed Solingen of the map....its all just guessing and having one big thumb.......
Let go gents, for me its 90/10.. 90% quality and 10% rarity.
Rarity adds to its price, but only if the dagger has value to add to.
Look for quality daggers, most of them are in collections, so finding unmessed gems is becoming a rarity of its own...
Quality is leader, not rarity..........quality sells, no one wants a beating up 10

This is true Ger...and makes total sense of todays market. I agree
But for historys sake at least a rule of thumb to go by that separates the big producers from the cottage / mom and pop shops. So when it comes to quality as I agree........ a reference even if it is out dated from todays market..but the market can never erase the fact that theses large and small producers existed.
We can take away the numbers but cant take away the quality of the small producer. The market still recognizes rare producers without the numbers and charges accordingly to rarity.
The worst Third Reich Invention was the creation of the RZM system and the identity of quality went out the door. To some of the collectors the RZM system may be appropriate but as personal opinion..a total loss when applied to Political blades.
I choose to hang onto the list even if it is outdated in todays market..but still a useful guide to whos who in the large and small producer world.
