it is missing the elastic on the cover that holds the cigarettes against it. other wise no comment.
I always view any of these type of items with extreme caution.

I agree with Map, but it all comes down to the asking price. I would own it for $10 US but would not take a chance at $50.

How does the owner know it's a trophy? Without solid provenance it's anyone's guess whether it's pre-war or post war. As John says, how much are you prepared to risk on it?

I have to agree with Rescue190. If I could pick it up for $10 USD. I'd give it a go. Anything above that. I'd pass. For me, I don't like the overall construction or the eagle. Eagle looks shoddy and poorly defined. See what others say.
