What sort of help do you want?

Also if you are using a mobile/cell phone when you take photos of your item, always take them in landscape mode. That way the photos will be orientated correctly when you upload them.

I really do not see any connection to a POW. Maybe a POW painted it and gave it to a guard, but without solid proof we will never know if this is the case.

Also Santi has noted the spelling mistake on the rear of the painting.

That said it is a really nice painting, thank you for sharing it with us.
