Hi. I recently acquired a new helmet and need help to identify it. It was sold as a M18, has a liner that looks like a M16. There are three rivets and it has a rolled edge. Let me know if there any questions. I will be happy to answer.

Not sure if it is the many coats of paint but the rolled edge on this helmet is quite thick.
The liner band is not a steel band which is what we should see. The liner is not original as well.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Bit of a mystery this one. Definitely not an Imperial German helmet or liner. Potentially something Austrian, and reminds me of the helmets (size 66 only) made by Gebruder Bohler & Co., Kapfenberg (Austria, Stiria), and used for other purposes post WW1.
Any other stamps in the helmet? In stamp in the dome?

I'd be tapping this one, as to me it looks like a plastic repro rather than metal. Hope I'm wrong.
No its steel for sure
The liner band is leather, the only comparisons to the shell I can find closely are to Austrian. The helmet shell has red underneath the black
