I guess you are right, I just thought it was just a tad bit interesting, if it could be a reichswehr as Irish1965 mentioned. But I am doubtful about it, the main thing is someone went to a great effort to produce this helmet cover. I think it looks cool as a display Item but other might disagree and that’s okay. I mean if its not correct for the period as a repro then it doesnt do its job, is it something simular to what they would have used 1916-1918.
