My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

An amazing untouched helmet. After more than 100 years the liner is in excellent condition. Hard to come by in this state. Well done.

    Cheers Paul

Thanks Openwire. They are less numerous than leather examples but definitely out there. The German Toy manufacturer Bing, tooled up to manufacture them during WW1.

Neat. I've got a lot of other stuff to get to unless I luck into one of these. I'm still paying off a live Panzerschreck and I want to pick up a WWII German helmet, and a WWI stalhelm and some US stuff from both wars.

'a live Panzerschreck'? I do hope the rockets are kept separately!
