I'm not 100% sure the bullet belongs with the Pichelhaube. I'd expect either a 303 or Lebel but this looks like neither. A relic with a story though for sure.
BlackCat1982, the helmet was part of a former museum display, so I doubt the bullet has anything to do with the pickelhaube itself, It is a excavation example. , I think the plastic pole with bullet tip was added to shown the possible direct impact hole. that is present on the haube, also the liner is private purchased variant.
