Looking for help identifying this sword

Article about: I’ve been offered this sword by a pensioner trying to raise some funds. I cannot find any info on it anywhere, even on the WKC website. It’s a plain but obviously ceremonial sword, and t

    That would make sense. WKC sold swords to both Rhodesia and South Africa in the 1960's. And that era would fit with the condition. Both countries I believe were outside the Commonwealth in the 1960's so no Royal cypher on the guard would make sense.
