    Hello all
I bought this bayonet 98/05 a few months ago. Made by Pack Ohliger & Co, Solingen. I like its condition and still untouched appearance. And most importantly, I like the year of production 1915. Any thoughts or comments appreciated.
Thought you might enjoy seeing the reference for yourself. Black circles indicate known/confirmed dated specimens.

As you know, finding a 1915 example is very rare. Nice find.

Looks like a nice piece in well used condition, the Carter tables are certainly obsolete and not exact as he dont had a large number of samples. there exist many samples which are not reported in his tables.

No i dont have it, but i am not S98/05 collector, anyway in Voronov books are already many pcs which are out of range of Carter primary book edition, same as is possible i saw one on GW forum too.

Andy, I want to add that Voronov's book is also out of date. It is not much different from Carter's book. Recently, many new positions have appeared. I hope someday there will be a reprint of this book. I have Pack Ohliger & Co, Solingen 17. I want to find 18, which is also not described anywhere.

Thanks for info, its nice sample too, similar ranges are probably only basic information as in last 70 years many interesting never reported marking and version were probably melted down, ever reported in any books.
