In the second buttonhole, he wears the ribbon of KriegverdienstKreuz 2 Klase, 1939. By the way, if you look closely, you can see a whistle lanyard in his left pocket.
The swastika of the chest eagle is accidentally hidden by a fold of the fabric of his tunic.
He also wears a triple ribbon bar: EK2 1914 & Hesse General Honour decoración (Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen) & Hindenburg Cross for Combatants
Although the photograph is in black and white, the shades of the colors of the central ribbon coincide with the Hesse decoration. And on the back of the photo, there is something handwritten that confirms this idea:
Heinrich Hübner, Höchstadten
Höchstadten is a tiny town halfway between Darmstadt to the north and Mannheim to the south. It's part of the District of Bensheim which is located south of the Land of Hesse. It currently has about 700 inhabitants.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
I too hope that he survived the second one too? a WORRIOR for sure! he has a great love for his country!
The caption says 'zum Andenken von deinem Vater, Maerz 1944', or 'to remember your father, March 1944'.
Thank you very much for the translation VtwinVince.
Regards, mate.

As everibody konws awards of the German Freikorps were unofficial military awards displayed by various veteran organizations in Germany during the immediate aftermath of World War I.
Upon the assumption of the Nazi Party to power in 1933, nearly all Freikorps awards were prohibited for wear on Party, State, and Military uniforms. Two notable exceptions were the Baltic Cross and Silesian Eagle.
All other Freikorps awards were declared obsolete with World War I service thereafter recognized by a single award, known as the Honour Cross.
In my collection I have two triple ribbon bars with the ribbons of each of these two Freikorps Awards #77

A few weeks ago I received this fantastic portrait of this Unteroffizier with a wide format ribbonbar with the Hindenburg Cross and the Baltic Cross. He also wears the full size Baltic cross 1st Class.
I have also found the photographs of two other Unteroffizier veterans with the triple ribbon bar and the full size Cross
