Opinions of Deumer EKI
Hi, I've recently been offered this EKI, from which I've deduced it to be Wilhelm Deumer, but am somewhat unsure since it lacks any markings on it, which understandably isn't profoundly unheard of.
The condition does look rather well, and is a magnetic, and of a 3 piece construction. The rear of it seems like the classic 'clamshell' screw. I have provided some pictures below.
Of course, the price is slightly higher than the average EKI, although I still think it's a bargain. I am somewhat still skeptical on my own judgement, but I thought it might be safer to ask whether anyone else could provide some insight.
Anyway, thanks in advance.

An 'original' Third Reich produced piece in my opinion.

Ah, yes, I forgot to mention that the seller did mention that it was made in the 30s.

Yup, I had an identical one of this type.

Agree with the others.
Here is mine to compare.
Ralph.
Nice! I've been eyeing one for sometime, since it woiuld be nice to present different versions of the EK1.
Although I've been trying to read up as much as I can, I am often quite skeptical about my own judgement. Thus, I thought this forum might provide some further insight.
Although in retrospect, I was rather unsure whether to post my question at this forum or at the Third Reich forum.

Yup, I had an identical one of this type.
That sounds great!
Previously, I only came across the ones with the hinge at the back. I thought I'd add this to the collection.
The prices seem to be getting steeper by the year... sigh*

Looks like a good cross to me.

Gentlemen,
These are certainly one of the more beautiful examples of the interwar era crosses.
Very nice!
