Weight of EK1 AKG in grams

Article about: Sorry about posting this question in the Ww2 section yesterday…. I just bought a EK1 AKG. it weighs 16 grams. Anyone have one they can weigh? Even if it’s not a AKG. thanks.

    Ek1 weight is going to differ slightly from maker to maker.
    The size and construction of the pin attachment will effect the weight as will
    the core construction ( stamped steel, cast iron, sheet steel ) Also the frame
    construction will effect it also. ( solid silver vs silver plated tombac or TR era
    alloy)

    I am assuming that by "AKG" you actually ment KAG.
    Yours has the earlier cast iron core while I believe mine is a stamped steel core.
    That might explaine the weight difference or it might just be a difference in the scales.
