Does anyone know who the maker SLL is? Last L probably Ludenscheid

No idea, the L might indeed be for Lüdenscheid. SSL is Sieper & Söhne, Lüdenscheid but I haven't been able to find any SLL examples so far.

Then there is of course L&SL or Linnepe & Schiffer Metallwarenfabrik, Lüdenscheid but that's still not quite SLL...

Do you own the example in question? Any photos?

Yeah, that is not "SLL" but "SSL" for R. Sieper & Söhne
