Endwar modified e-tool carrier

Some days ago I have received this nice e-tool carrier which was modified to fit the straight shovel.
They are to find from time to time and per my point of view still underrated.
For a 1944-45 composition the carrier fits very well, I think.
Towards the end of the war there were apparently carriers for the folding e-tool in stock, but only straight shovels in production.
Thus a small number of these carriers was modified.
Note that the extention of the carrying strap was made of a leather replacement material for belt buckles.
The holder strap can be closed, but it's very tight and I dont want to force it.
